I think everyone has very unique goals and aspirations. Many online resources can be either too vague or convoluted for someone new, or unspecified for many. Having an outside source of help and knowledge is a great way to both see the problem objectively (it's easy not to take your own advice), and there's a level of accountability there. It's important to balance fitness goals with your personal enjoyment and lifestyle wants as well as having an overall balance of health and fitness.
Variety in my own program keeps me motivated: from weights, swim, hiking, snowshoeing, to biking.
I eat primarily plant based, while still get 120+ grams of protein per day. Variety, and is key!
Healthy doesn't = no spices, add some flavor!
