A good fit client is with me because they know I dont know everything and all I want is to help them grow. I really encourage my clients to immerse themselves as much as possible and learn about their bodies, and their possibilities. Fitness routines, training styles, "diets", anything that interests them and I want them to have goals that change consistently. The goals need to expand with perceived limitations. I am here to help weed out the nonsense, keep them on track, hold them accountable (lovable drill sgt type) and hone in on what will actually benefit them, and if in that process I learn something new (bound to happen) we both get better. If I just toss out routines and bark orders, I'm not really helping them. My clients really appreciate the reciprocal nature of my training methods.
