Health is multi-factorial and it takes time. Habits are only good for as long as you can sustain them; this is why I believe someone needs to fall in love with the process, not just the expected final result. Ideally, they will fall more in love with themself and use exercise as a gift to their bodies and future well-being!
Mobility warm-up + 3-4 resistance exercises + 10 min of interval training (Assault bike or sprints)
