As a nurse of almost 10 years, my knowledge of anatomy and physiology, experience working with various health conditions, and history of educating patients on lifestyle changes translate exceptionally well to the personal training and nutrition arenas. Additionally, I have personally gone through the process of making the same lifestyle changes I hope to bring to others. I went from hating exercise, being terrified at the thought of working out in classes or public gyms, and following various crash diets and online workout plans, to working with a personal trainer and then subscribing to fitness plans from certified trainers, to becoming certified in Personal Training and Nutrition and thoroughly enjoying working out and making healthy choices every day. I did all of this while working three or four 12-hour shifts a week (including night shifts) and living an active social life, so I am confident in my ability to help clients make sustainable change while navigating busy schedules.
