There is no one size fits all when it comes to personal fitness. Every individual is different. Clients need a professional to assess them and help them achieve the best possible physical outcome in the safest and most effective way possible. Most people don’t realize the danger that they put themselves in by jumping into an online(like FitON) or in person (like Orange Theory) fad-exercise programs without assessment of their life-style and movement patterns first. I hate that the big companies that sell these kinds of one size fits all programs don’t really seem to care that they could cause an injury to or discourage those who are unable to keep up with their programming . I like to get to know my clients’ mental and physical fitness needs by talking with them and performing thorough movement assessments. I have not met one client that didn’t need modified or custom programming.
