I began my fitness journey 12 years ago after the birth of my first son. I wanted to look better and feel good about myself, not to mention create healthier habits to model for my child. In 2013, I began training because I wanted to help others feel the same way. I took the year of 2020 off to concentrate on other things including my second pregnancy. I missed the fitness industry! I'm jumping back into it again to help others feel and look better!
Krista's mantra
In my experience, people who use the free information online to train themselves are more likely to hurt themselves, or use the wrong type of information and fail in their pursuit of goals. They end up quitting altogether. I use a real-life approach to training and "dieting" - there should be no such thing as a diet. I use the basic calories in, calories out basic method for weight loss, as well as regular daily activity. I'm realistic, supportive, and empathetic to people's situations.
