My strengths come from having my own weight loss experience. At first, I did everything wrong when trying to lose weight and feel comfortable in my skin. However, when I am with a client, I use those past experiences to relate with my clients and develop new ways to help them make lifestyle changes that will impact them for years to come. I also like to focus on pain management and corrective exercise with clients and give them the knowledge of why they may be having acute or chronic pain. Finally, I firmly believe in celebrating the little things with clients. Not just losing 5 pounds on the scale but more something like helping a client celebrate saying no to that after-dinner cookie or being able to pick up their 10-year-old son finally. Because if you can't celebrate the little things, you won't be able to celebrate the big things in life.
