My Mission

As a teenager, I received the diagnosis of functional scoliosis. Suffering from severe back pain and bullying, the doctor gave me the option of using the Mehta casting to correct the posture or years of physiotherapy with no guarantee of success. I opted for physiotherapy and that went on for almost 5 years of struggle, and costly sessions almost every day. Those long and uncomfortable sessions paid off after those 5 years. The physiotherapist then recommended to start going to the gym and do strength training, to build up my core and back muscles, and to strengthen and maintain a good posture. In the beginning, I was reluctant to go to a gym where everyone else had their perfect functioning bodies. However, I pushed through my limits and out of my comfort zone and I did it! I conquered the right to jump, run, swim, play sports, and the best part: FREE OF PAIN! Now, my goal is to help others overcome their challenges and succeed at being strong, independent, and healthy!
