When I got into fitness, I was out of shape and injured. Going to a gym inspired me to become fit and encourage others to do the same. However, I ended up overworking and under-eating to the point that it wasn't healthy. Now I learned the importance of being healthy and doing things I enjoy in a sustainable way. My mission is to be the coach I wished I had when I was starting out in fitness.
Florence's mantra
I’ve been working in fitness for 10 years and have worked with a variety of groups including pre and post natal women, and people with chronic illness and disabilities of all ages. Although a large part of training is offering education and effective workouts, actually getting a client to partake requires psychological coaching, compassion and encouragement. I often say, most clients know what they need to do to succeed but they need someone to support and guide them.
