When I was 19, I lost my mother to a sudden heart attack brought on by multiple unhealthy choices. She was only 39 years old! After her death, I knew I had to take better care of my health. It was then that I turned to working out and eating healthy. I started slow, but soon, I was motivating others to join me! My passion for health and wellness burned like a fire inside me, and I knew it was my life's purpose. By the time I was 40, I turned health and wellness into my career. I do this work because I don't want anyone to ever feel alone and scared like I once did. For the past 12 years, I have taught private sessions and group classes for people of all ages, health issues, and abilities. Life can be hard, but I say, "we can either let that make us bitter or better." I choose better. Join me, and you can choose better, too!
Fernanda's mantra
I make it a priority to learn about my clients likes and dislikes and engage them in friendly conversation during training sessions. I try to remain positive and upbeat at all times. I ask them what sort of encouragement they respond to, and I make an effort to create an individualized workout and success plan for each client. My attitude shows that I love helping people achieve a better quality of life through exercise and nutrition.
