My mission is to help people feel more comfortable and confident within themselves and within exercise. I love to see clients transform into someone who loves the gym and is so confident within themselves and their abilities. I absolutely love helping people reach their potential and working out is a great way to get there. Transformations for me aren't just about how you look, it's about building healthy habits along the way and feeling GOOD! I have been in a place where I worked out because I "had" to, and I wasn't happy doing that, so I love helping clients find things they love while also creating healthy habits for the rest of their lives.
Emily's mantra
I am very very big on form and all of my clients can attest to that. I have dealt with injuries in the past from improper form and I know how uncomfortable it can be to ask a trainer in the gym for help, so I ALWAYS start with an assessment and going over basic movement patterns, and then once form is nailed down we can progress. I consistently push my clients without them knowing by either increasing their weight or reps, while I get them to focus on how they're feeling over how much weight they are lifting or how many reps they are doing and they are always so excited and surprised when I tell them how much they've done. I am very focused on how things feel vs. how heavy and intense workouts are because working out is a long game, it's not trying to rush through to get done, it's about slowing down and making sure everything is correct while also trying to fix any injuries or imbalances.
