My Mission
My mission statement is to help people find their own “Athletic” self. It may not be an “Olympic” athlete but it’s your “Personal” athletic self. I wasn’t always an athlete, I had struggled to find my athletic self after my 3rd child. I was 35 and out of shape. I knew I had a fitness calling inside of me, my inner voice was screaming at me. I had to make healthier eating choices and start moving, and I did. I starting making healthier meals for my family and I. I also slowly started running, 5ks, 10ks, and finally a half marathon. By the time my 3rd child was in pre-school all of the Moms were asking how I got in such great shape. That is when I decided to get certified as a personal trainer and a spinning instructor. I then opened a small fitness studio. I also started riding a road bike, I joined a cycling team and I loved it! I started riding thousands of miles a year. Fast forward 22 years. I’ve had a very successful Fitness career and I’m still riding my bike thousands of miles.

Why Train With Me

First of all, I have 22 years of one on one training experience and I’m super good with people. I’m an encouraging, knowledgeable and fun trainer. I don’t subscribe to the mean, yelling trainer theory. When I train clients, we have fun, it makes the training session go by quicker and they walk out of my studio with a big smile. I have been training most of my clients for over 20 years! I think that says a lot about my training style. I like people, I love their stories. We learn from each other.

My go-to workout

A great total body weight workout or a 2-3 hours intense road bike ride, that’s my go to sweat sesh.

Healthy food I love

I crave salads with chicken, sushi, veggie wraps and an occasional half a burger with French fries.

Healthy food I hate

I’m not real big on smoothies. I really like to chew and taste my food. Smoothies make me hungrier.
