I am a mother, a veteran, a student, an athlete, a scientist, and someone who has struggled with weight in the past; so, I would be able to relate to a variety of people. Additionally, the success of someone completing or maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle relies on implementing behavioral change. These changes can be overwhelming especially with the oversaturation of free information on the internet, I would be able to translate and support my clients, ultimately fostering their self-efficacy while simultaneously challenging misinformation. Overall, person-to-person sessions will allow me to educate clients to adopt and keep healthy behaviors.
