I started my fitness journey not knowing anything or how I was going to achieve my goals. I turned to social media where I found a trainer and purchased one of her online coaching programs. From then on, my life took a turn. I switched my major from business to exercise science because I wanted a career for myself that I was passionate about and know I could improve and change people's lives. My senior year of college, I started training clients and that's where my coaching journey began. Although I was working 13 hour days sometimes, it was all worth it because my clients were so proud of themselves and their physical and mental accomplishments. I did not only want to teach my clients how to workout or how to eat based on their goals but I wanted to teach them discipline and consistency. Those two play a huge factor in changing your habits and creating a better and healthier lifestyle for yourself.
A client should train with me because of how personalized the training will be. What I mean by this is that I will get to know them as a client and as someone who will motivate me to be a better trainer/coach. Their programs will be personalized specifically for them and their goals. My goal as a trainer is not to see a client reach one goal but I want to help them succeed in a life-changing routine that will help them physically, mentally, and emotionally. I will encourage my clients to always stay consistent and I will always be available to them for anything that they need, for training or lifestyle decisions. I believe that communication is also very important when it comes to building a relationship with your client because it shows them that you are on this journey with them.
